5Questions is a new kind of podcast where you the listener is the star of the show. Your responses to the questions will become the basis for the show which we podcast on Fridays.
- How does 5 Questions work?
Every Friday at the end of the show we announce the questions for the next show. We want you to answer these questions in a variety of ways:

- Give us a call on our listener hotline at 206-984-3006.
- Leave us a voice mail through Skype.
- E-mail us your audio file in MP3 or WAV format to comments @ fivequestion.net
- Call us through Live Journal
On Mondays we produce a short reminder-cast with left over answers from the previous week, a bit of new music, and the questions for the upcoming show so you have them handy to answer during the week. On Thursday night, our crack-pot staff pulls together the best answers from the week with your audio and our reading e-mail responses into a show that can range from 30 minutes to an hour. We give away weekly and monthly prizes to everyone who gives us answers.
- Who came up with this idea?
This is the unfortunate brainchild of Greg Demetrick who got the idea after reading about podcasting online and listening to too many cast of the Dawn
and Drew Show.
- How do I get on the show?
We post 5 new questions every Monday for you to answer on our main page. To answer
them, either fill the answers
form, call our Skype line at fivequestions or call us at 206-984-3006
- When did 5Questions launch?
The questions for the Pilot show and intro podcast launched on March 15th, 2005. The first "official" podcast was transmitted on April 1st, 2005. The podcast had 5 e-mail submissions and one audio submission from the UK.
- What is the Guest Segment of the show?
About half way through the show we break away from the e-mails and give someone a call to answer the questions live on the show. Sometimes this is another podcast host, sometimes it's my girlfriend, sometimes it could be YOU! If you would like to be considered for the live segment of the show, check off the area on the Answers Form saying you would like to be considered.
- Have you won any awards?
So far this award winning podcast has been choosen as the Podcast Pickle Featured Promo Contest Weekly Winner.
- What groups do you belong to?
This show is part of New England Podcasters, The Podcast Outlaws Network, and the International Nanocasting Association.
- Who pays for all this?
We take on sponsors and donations to defray the cost to produce the show and provide the prizes. - When did Season Two start ?
The first show of Season Two was published on June 9th, 2006. Seasoning of the show was unintentional but a long issue with a multi-state move
and house construction forced a 4 month sabatical of the show. For the future we will "season" the show to about 40 episodes per season but do not intend on a 4 month break in between seasons.
